rory is a recent college graduate who happened upon a lucky break with an old cabin available for purchase at a price far too good to be true. not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, he snapped up the offer and promptly moved in. predictably, the offer was too good to be true, and rory soon found himself face-to-face with the local monster that had claimed that corner of the woods as his territory. eventually, rory and the monster, whose name is selkie, learned to coexist and eventually formed a relationship with each other. for fun, rory likes to play old games and draw, even if he's not great at either. he's a bit of a nervous wreck sometimes, but selkie helps to calm his nerves.
